****India cricketer Suresh Raina has stepped up in the times of need and announced that he would be donating Rs 52 lakh to combat novel coronavirus which has claimed almost 20 lives in India is affected closed to 900 people.
****The left-hand batsman took to Twitter to make the announcement and said that he would be transferring Rs 31 lakh to Prime Minister National Relief Fund and Rs 21 lakh to UP CM’s Disaster Relief Fund.

****On March 28, PM Modi announced the CARES fund requesting for donations to fight the coronavirus war. Akshay Kumar, who has been vocal about Covid-19, is one of the first actors to pitch in and donate a sum of Rs 25 crore to the PM-CARES fund.
"This is that time when all that matters is the lives of our people. And we need to do anything and everything it takes. I pledge to contribute Rs 25 crores from my savings to @narendramodi ji’s PM-CARES Fund. Let’s save lives, Jaan hai toh jahaan hai."
